Roxie R Reidenauer

Roxie R. (Mosser) Reidenauer, 94, of Kutztown, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., where she was a resident since April 1, 2010. She was the widow of Wayne N. Reidenauer, who died March 2, 2003.

Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Irwin R. and Elizabeth (Peters) Mosser. Mrs. Reidenauer was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Kutztown, where she served as a Deacon and Elder of the church consistory, Sunday school teacher, senior choir member, and was involved with numerous church events and activities. She was also a member and former secretary of the churchs womens guild. Mrs. Reidenauer was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. She was employed as an assistant manager by the former Rite-Aid Pharmacy, Reading, retiring in 1995. Prior to that, she was employed by the former Gauls Pharmacy, Kutztown in the 1970s and 1980s. She also worked at Crystal Cave, Kutztown, for 10 years in the 1960s. Mrs. Reidenauer was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter No. 336, Kutztown, for many years, serving as a past Worthy Matron from 1958 to 1959, and a past treasurer.

She is survived by Sister, Lillian (Mosser), widow of Charles Wasser, Lyon Station; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Sisters, Carrie (Mosser) Angstadt, and Dora (Mosser) Swoyer.

Funeral Services are Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM from St. Pauls United Church of Christ, 47 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment will follow in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. An Order of the Eastern Star service will begin at 10:15 AM.
