Rose C. Liott

Rose Eleanor (Conte) Liott, 105, of Boothwyn, died peacefully, Monday, August 9, 2021, in the home of her daughter, Mary Jo, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Frank Liott, who died in 1992. Born in Marcus Hook, Rose was a daughter of the late Ralph and Consiglia (Maietta) Conte. She was a faithful member of Saint John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, Boothwyn, and formerly Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Marcus Hook. A gentle woman, Rose cared for her family and friends, enjoyed cooking and tending her garden. Rose was a 1934 graduate of Chester High School.

Rose is survived by her children: Frank J., husband of Judy (Lucey) Liott, Fort Myers Beach, FL; Vincent R., husband of Vera (Catullo) Liott, West Chester; Carolyn R. (Liott), wife of Edward M. Dougherty, Boothwyn; and Mary Jo (Liott), wife of Craig W. Wieder, Temple. Other survivors include seven grandchildren: Donna (Liott), wife of Michael Euler, Downingtown; David, husband of Melissa (Ross) Liott, Vero Beach, FL; Michael C. Wieder, Esq., Temple; Megan R. Wieder, Reading; Dr. Lydia A. Wieder, Reading; Vincent, Jr., husband of Michelle (Fallon) Liott, West Chester; and Gina (Liott), wife of Edward Brocklesby, Havertown; there are five great grandchildren: Ryan Euler; Maggie and Lindsey Liott; and Tre and Ben Brocklesby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 21 West 8th Street, Marcus Hook, PA 19061, with The Reverend Robert McDermott, as celebrant. Interment in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, 1701 Market Street, Linwood, PA 19061. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the church.  Masks are encouraged for all those attending.
