Rose A Edinger

Rose A. Edinger, age 85, of 327 Croll Street, Topton PA, died Friday, February 9, 2001 in the Henry Health Care Center of the Topton Lutheran Home, Topton PA. She was the wife of Elmer S. Edinger and the late Frank D. Merkel who died in 1961. She and her second husband were married 38 years this past March.

Born in Maidencreek Township, Berks County PA, she was the Daughter of the late Henry and LeNora (Schneck) Lamb. She was a Vamper at the former Wenton Shoe for ten years and former Kutztown Shoe Co., Kutztown for forty years retiring in 1975. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton.

She is survived by her Husband; Daughters, Marion M., wife of Harold Reynard of Plymouth IN and Ruth E. Sanders of Kutztown PA; Brother, Henry Lamb of Atlantic City NJ; 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her Daughter, Elda L. Oswald, who died February 22, 1995.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12, 2001, at 2:00 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Homess, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton PA. Friends may call Monday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment in Saint Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood PA.
