Ronald A. Weller

Ronald A. "Ron" Weller, 67, of Boyertown, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 27, 2025, in his home. Born in Pottstown, Ron was a son of Lloyd E. Weller, Boyertown and the late Rita V. (Pienta) Hobbs. He was a member of Trinity E. C. Church, Boyertown. Ronald honorably and faithfully served our country as a veteran of the United States Navy.

Ronald was a graduate of Boyertown High School, Class of 1977.

Ronald was employed as a correctional officer for the State Department of Corrections at Graterford Prison, for over 30 years until his retirement, in 2018.

Ron enjoyed fishing, working on cars, marksmanship, was a dog lover and was a devout Philadelphia Eagles fan.

In addition to his father, Ronald is survived by a daughter, Natalie S. Weller, Boyertown; two sisters, Betty A. Weller, Sugarland, TX; Gloria J. (Weller), wife of Randy L. Lewis, Kutztown; a twin brother, Robert A., husband of Tina M. (Miller) Weller, Boyertown. In addition to his mother, Ron was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd V. Weller.

Services for Ronald will be held privately by his family. Contributions may be made in Ron's memory to Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508-8302.
