Mr. Ronald R. Miller

Ronald R. Miller, 83, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Promedica Nursing and Rehabilitation - West Allen, Allentown.  He was widower of Catherine A. (Schadler) Miller, who died March 22, 2017.  Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Ethel M. (Reinert) Miller.

Ronald was employed as a crane operator first by Kutztown Foundry, Kutztown; then by Carpenter Technology, Reading, until his retirement in 1998.

Ronald was member of the National Rifle Association; Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Kutztown; Pike Township Sportsmen's Association, Oley.

Snook, as he was affectionately called, enjoyed hunting, and watching NASCAR; repairing cars and keeping his home and property in repair.

Ronald is survived by three sons:  Dennis R., husband of Sandra Z. (Himmelberger) Miller, Mertztown; Michael S., husband of Wendy J. (Renninger) Miller, Palmerton; James P. Miller, companion of Stephanie Apostalou, Kutztown.  Other survivors include a sister, Jean E. (Miller), wife of David Shelak, Kutztown.  There are five grandchildren: Travis A. Miller; Troy M. Miller; Samantha A. Miller; Katlyn A. Miller; Nathan P. Miller; There are also seven great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, Catherine, and parents, Ronald was predeceased by a brother, Richard C. Miller and a sister, Carole F. (Miller) Schadler.

A Private Memorial Service to celebrate and honor Ronald's life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Inurnment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.  There are no public viewing or calling hours.
