Ronald A. Masters, 81, of Lower Macungie Township, died peacefully Sunday, April 13, 2025, in his residence, with his wife Barbara A. (Adam) Tothero, by his side. Born in Upper Lehigh Township, Lehigh County, Ronald was a son of the late Austin and Margaret (Stegna) Masters. Ronald honorably and faithfully served our country as a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Ron worked in several positions at Mack Truck, primarily on the assembly line until his retirement.
Ronald was a firefighter, company officer, and life member of Trexlertown Fire Company, Trexlertown.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Barbara. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by a stepson, Timothy L. Tothero, who died in 2006.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Ronald's life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Zion (Maxatawny) Union Cemetery, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, with The Reverend Martin A. Milne, officiating. There are no public viewing or calling hours.
A Memorial Gathering at the Trexlertown Fire Company will be announced in the future.
