Ronald J Wessner

Ronald J. “Homer” Wessner, 67, of Maxatawny, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Collins) Wessner. They were married August 11, 1979.

Born in Richmond Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late William M. and Viola M. (Klopp) Wessner. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run. He was formerly employed as a laborer at the former Saucony Shoe Factory, Kutztown, for six years and the former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, for 12 years.

He is survived by Wife, Sisters, Sharon A. (Wessner) Moll, Maxatawny, and Lorraine E. (Wessner) Kauffman, Reading; Brothers, Marlin W. Wessner, Topton, and Larry F. Wessner, Fleetwood.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Stony Run. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
