Mr. Ronald J. Dengler

Ronald J. Dengler, 53, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 9, 2023 in his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Tedra A. (Green) Dengler, whom he married on October 16, 2004.

Born in Allentown, Ronald was a son of Edna M. (Debus) Dengler, of Mertztown, and the late Carl E. Dengler and was a 1989 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School. Ron was employed as a maintenance and grounds person by The Kutztown Area School District, working at all of their buildings for seven years. Prior to working for the school district, Ron was employed by the former Kutztown Area Transport Service in their maintenance department.

Ron loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed his yearly trips to the beach, mostly to Ocean City, MD, and could often be found tinkering on his lawn equipment. Above all, Ron lived for his family, which was the most important part of his life.

Along with his wife, Tedra and mother, Edna, Ron is survived by his son, Austin A. Dengler, at home, and his girlfriend, Malia Weaver; siblings, Bonnie M. (Dengler), wife of Michael K. Miller, Mertztown, Brenda F. (Dengler), wife of Richard C. Shoemaker, Old Zionsville, Kenneth R., husband of Sandra (Smith), Kempton, Ralph C., husband of Rhonda (Pfeifly) Dengler, New Tripoli; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

A viewing for Ron will be held on Tuesday evening, December 12, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. Services and burial will be held privately.
