Roland S Rhode

Roland S. Rhode, age 94, of Sharadin Road, Kutztown PA, died Monday, April 8, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Widower of the late Elizabeth R. (Roth) Rhode who died in 1993.

Born in Topton PA, he was the son of the late John W. and Katie (Keller) Rhode. He was the Founder and Owner of the Rhode Insurance Agency, Inc. of Kutztown and Fleetwood PA from 1936 until retiring in 1972. He was a Member of Huguenot Lodge F & AM 317 in Kutztown PA. He was former Secretary of Berks and Lehigh Mutual Insurance Company; and former Director of the Windson-Mt. Joy Insurance Company and Donegal Insurance Company, Lancaster County PA.

There are no immediate survivors.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2002 in Schwarzwald Cemetery, Exeter Township PA. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown PA.
