Roger F Bucks

Roger F. Bucks, 88, formerly of Wilson Manor, Kutztown, died Saturday, February 11, 2006, in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where he was admitted earlier in the day. He was taken there from Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Twp., Berks County. He was the husband of the late Nancy P. (Phillips) Bucks who died January 13, 1991; his first wife, Viola S. (Youse) Bucks died December 4, 1976.

Born in Maxatawny Twp., Berks County, PA, he was the son of the late Mahlon G. and the late Annabelle (Gambler) Bucks. He was a molder and tow motor operator at Tyler Pipe Company, Macungie for 25 years retiring in 1982.

He is survived by Daughter, Ann L. (Bucks) Stump, Kutztown; Sons, Russell L. husband of Marilyn V. (Moyer) Bucks, Bowers, Melvin R. husband of Lillian H. (Solt) Bucks, Boyertown; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth R. husband of Nancy (Noll) Bucks, Fleetwood, who died in 2000.

Funeral Services are Thursday, February 16, 2006, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville (Rockland Twp.). Friends may call Thursday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
