Rodger Ronald Miller, 81, of Nazareth, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth A. "Liz" (Gallagher) Miller, whom he married on June 30, 2001.
Born in Pen Argyl, PA, Rodger was a son of the late Cecelia F. (Smith) Suppers and attended Wilson Area High School, Easton. Rodger worked as a Bulk Loader at Hercules Cement Co., Nazareth for 20 years and in the same capacity at Pantry Pride for 20 years. Rodger was a dedicated farmer and hard worker at heart. Even though Rodger did not serve in the armed forces, he was a proud American and donated to many veteran organizations.
In addition to his wife of 20 years Liz, Rodger is survived by his daughter, Dody (Miller) Siegfried, and husband James; step-daughter, Michele (Kneller) McGuire, and husband Martin; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and forever friends, Jeanette and John.
In addition to his parents, Rodger was predeceased by his brother, Ervin D. Miller and sister, Doris (Miller) Hammerstone.
Funeral services and burial in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Macungie, will be held privately by his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or another veteran organization of your choice in Rodger's memory.
