Mrs. Rochelle L. Hartline

Rochelle L. (Scheidt) Hartline, 80, of Rockland Township, died peacefully Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was a patient since Saturday, December 19.  She was the wife of John V. Hartline.  They were married June 27, 1959.  Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd V. and Betty J. (Kniss) Scheidt.

Rochelle was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville.  She was employed as a secretary first for Wenton Shoe, Kutztown; then Briarwood Shoe, Kutztown; and finally Adidas, Kutztown.  She then was secretary and title clerk for Haldeman Ford, Kutztown, until her retirement.

Rochelle enjoyed going for rides, playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren.  She especially enjoyed attending their sporting events.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, John, Rochelle is survived by daughters: Lori P. (Hartline), wife of Brian L. Kline, Fleetwood; Shelly A. (Hartline), wife of Allen R. Fox, Fleetwood; a son: Michael J., husband of Sherry L. (Haag) Hartline, Fleetwood.  Other survivors include a sister: Marlene L. (Scheidt), wife of Robin L. Snyder, Dryville. There are four grandchildren: Emily K. Fox; Kyle H., husband of Aubrey E. (Hammond) Fox; Jake M. Hartline; Jade V. Hartline.

Funeral services for Rochelle will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family requests contributions be made in Rochelle's memory to Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood, PA  19522.
