Robin Elise Skidmore

Robin Elise Skidmore, 59, of Alburtis, died suddenly on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in her residence.

Born in the village of Mill Neck, Long Island, NY, she was a daughter of Rodney L. Skidmore, husband of Diane C. (Catalano) Skidmore, Alburtis, and the late Deborah (Leak) O'Brien, who died in 2005. Robin graduated high school and later attended the Katharine Gibbs School of Business. Robin was employed as a Housekeeping Supervisor by Bear Creek Mountain Resort, Macungie for over four years, last working last Wednesday. Prior to that, she worked as an Administrative Secretary for Century Telephone Company and as an Administrative Assistant at Norplex Oak, both in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Robin had a love for the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, gardening, horses, and was also a Girl Scout Leader.

In addition to her Father and Step Mother, Robin is survived by a Son, Matthew C. Koby, husband of Rebecca (Conrad) Koby, Holmen, Wisconsin; Daughters, Jessica K. Koby, companion of Eric P. Panek, La Crosse, Wisconsin, Jacqueline P. Skidmore-Hess and Katie E. Skidmore-Hess, both of Alburtis; 4 Grandchildren, Jacob, Jayse, Sean and Dylan. She is also survived by Brothers, David Skidmore, husband of Sally (Stephens) Skidmore, Brooklyn, NY and Nathan G. Skidmore, Phoenix, AZ. Robin was predeceased by her Mother; and Half-Sister, Stacy Rohrer in 2011.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 4:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Pastor John Hutteman, Lead Pastor of Salem Bible Church, Macungie, officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
