Mr. Robert Michael Hartline

Robert Michael "Bob" Hartline, 63, of Kempton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024 in his residence. He was the loving husband of Maryanne (Bieber) Hartline, who predeceased him on January 6, 2017, and whom he married on October 8, 1983.

Born in Reading, Robert was a son of Katie M. (Schittler) Hartline, also of Kempton, and the late Kermit E. Hartline. Bob was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. Following a sudden accident involving his late wife, Maryanne, Bob became her devoted caregiver for many years until her passing. He truly had a heart of gold.

Bob was an avid car enthusiast. He also enjoyed hunting and trips to his Cabin in Sullivan County. Bob would also look forward to his weekly visits from his "cleaning lady" ...his aunt Nancy.

Along with his Mother Katie, Bob is survived by his sister, Donna A. (Hartline), wife of David K. Miller, Orwigsburg; brother, Kevin D. Hartline and his wife, Jennifer; his God children (nephew and niece), David C. Miller and Kimberly (Miller), wife of Brett Gordon; and great-niece, Charlotte Raye Gordon who brought him much joy.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Bob's life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment in Hope Cemetery Mausoleum will be held privately by his family.
