Robert M Shade

Robert M. Shade, 88, of East Linden Street, Fleetwood, formerly of Pricetown Road, died Saturday October 8, 2005, in his residence. He was the husband of Laila H. (Henry) Shade who died January 12, 2002.

Born in Rockland Township, PA, he was the son of late William K. Hettie M. (Moyer) Shade. He was a mechanic at the former Rhoads Garage, Fleetwood for 40 years retiring in 1987. He was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church (Dryville) Fleetwood.

He is survived by Son, Scott R. Shade of Brooklyn NY; Sister, Lucy K. (Shade) Williams, Mertztown; Companion, Pauline (Oswald) Frederick, with whom he resided.

Funeral Services are Friday, October 14, 2005 at 10:30 AM in Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood (Rockland Twp.). Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Thursday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St, Kutztown and 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the church.
