Robert K Kline

Robert K. Kline, 82, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Anna Mae (Sittler) Kline, whom he married November 3, 1956.

Born in Maxatawny Township, he was a son of the late William H., Sr., and Carrie E. (Dey) Kline. He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Kutztown. Mr. Kline was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a 1956 graduate of Temple University receiving an associates degree in technology. Mr. Kline was the owner and operator of the former Klines TV Service, Kutztown, for 40 years, retiring in 2000. Prior to that, he was employed by Bell Telephone Laboratories, Allentown, from 1956 to 1960. Robert liked collecting antiques, attending public auctions, playing cards, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Pamela A. (Kline), wife of David P. Kerschner, Sr., New Tripoli; Son, Gary A., husband of Sue E. (Grim) Kline, Kutztown; Sisters, Catherine (Kline) Pieller, Robesonia, and Marion P. (Kline) Pieller, Kutztown; Brothers, Roy A. Kline, Sr., and Dennis C. Kline, both of Kutztown; Grandsons, David P., Jr. husband of Melissa Kerschner, and Brent R. Kerschner; and Great Grandchildren, Haley and Chase. He was predeceased by Sisters, Lovie, Helen, Mae, Elsie, Anna, Nancy; and Brothers, Jonathon, William, Jr., George, Francis, and Dallas.

Funeral Services are Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment, with military honors, will be private at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ, 257 West Walnut Street, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
