Robert Howard Klima

Robert Howard Klima, 69, of Kutztown and formerly of Queens, New York, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in his residence. He was the husband of Joy M. (Ferns) Klima whom he married May 23, 1970.

Born in Queens, NY, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Madeline M. (Schneider) Klima. Mr. Klima was Methodist in faith. He was a 1964 graduate of Thomas A. Edison Vocational & Technical High School, Queens, NY. Robert was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Supervisor by the United States Postal Service, working in Long Island City, NY, for 30 years. Mr. Klima was a member of Queensboro Lodge No. 892 F. & A. M. He was an avid coin and stamp collector and was a history "buff". Robert loved his family, especially supporting his grandchildren's various activities.

He is survived by Wife, Joy; Children, Margaret Marion (Klima), wife of Christopher Mills, Kutztown, Christopher Robert, husband of Dana (Broas) Klima, Port Jervis, NY, Beverly Anne (Klima), wife of Stephen Dallal, Kutztown; Sister, Marion (Klima) Bellhouse, Hoffman Estates, IL; brother, Richard W. Klima, Avondale, GA. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, Victoria A. Klima, Samantha J. Klima, George C. Mills, Stephen T. Dallal and Austin J. Mills.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 12, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment, with military honors, will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

The family requests contributions be made in Robert's memory to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
