Robert H Schnabel

Robert H. Schnabel, 66, of Kutztown, PA and The Villages, Fla., died Thursday, May 24, 2007 in The Villages Regional Hospital, The Villages, Fla., shortly after admission. He was the husband of Lola F. (Lucas) Schnabel. They were married December 9, 1961.

Born in the Village of Springcreek, Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County. He was a son of Anna I. (Beachel) Hartman, Blandon, and the late Robert S. Schnabel. He was a 1959 graduate of Fleetwood High School, Fleetwood. He was Maintenance Coordinator at Lehigh Cement Company at their Evansville Plant for 37 years until his retirement May 31, 2003. He was a US Navy veteran. He was a member and Past Master of Huguenot Lodge #377, F. & A. M., Kutztown.

He is survived by Wife and Mother; Daughters, Cheryl L. (Schnabel) wife of Nader Rahmanian, M.D., Leesport, Jennifer L. (Schnabel) wife of Michael L. Robinson, Fleetwood; 5 Grandchildren, Jeremy B. Meitzler, Amanda R. Meitzler, Kristen B. (Meitzler) wife of Aaron Manwiller, Jemika L. Robinson, and Isaiah M. Robinson; Step Grandson, Corey Charleston. Other survivors include Brothers, Ronald L. husband of Jean (Stump) Schnabel, Fleetwood, Rickie husband of Bonita (Miller) Schnabel, Fleetwood; Step Sister, Carol (Hartman) Haines, Cape Coral, Fla. He was predeceased by Brother, Barry Neil Schnabel in 1981.

There will be a viewing and visitation with the family Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by the funeral services in Fleetwood Bible Church, 2847 Moselem Spring Road (Route 662), Fleetwood. There will be additional viewing on Wednesday, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church followed by interment with Military Honors in Forest Hills Cemetery, Reiffton.
