Robert H Dries

Robert H. Dries, 70, of Hunter Forge Road, Barto (Hereford Township, Berks County), died Monday, May 15, 2006, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where he had been a patient since April 26 ^th . He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Waylen) Dries who died on May 31, 1994.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Henry and Clara (Geist) Dries. He was a mechanic at the former Bally Engineered Structures, Bally, for 34 years retiring in 1994. He was a member of the UCC Congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis.

He is survived by Daughter, Virgina K. (Dries) Devine, Green Lane; Son, Jeffrey L. Dries, Barto; Sisters, Mary A. (Dries) Wylie, Shinglehouse, PA (Potter County), Mae Diane (Dries) Hickerson, Manhattan, Kansas, Barbara (Dries) Broach, Pamplico, SC, Evelyn (Dries) Bringle, St. George, Kansas, Darlene (Dries) Gates, Manhattan, Kansas, Shirley (Dries) Stump, Warfordsburg, PA; Brothers, Charles Dries, Coopersburg, Russell Dries, Alburtis, Harold Dries, Emmaus, Donald Dries, Allentown, Henry Dries, Jr., Harrisburg, James Dries, Harrisburg, Larry Dries, East Greenville; 4 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Granddaughter, Kaitlin N. Dries, January 23, 1992.

Funeral Services are Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis 18011. Interment in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.

Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Church (UCC Congregation). Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
