Robert G Sterner

Robert G. “Pit” Sterner Sr., 72, of 3709 Blacksmith Road, New Tripoli (Weisenberg Twp., Lehigh County), died Monday, October 27, 2003, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was married to Delores L. (Geist) Sterner for 52 years this past April 14 ^th .

Born in Kutztown, PA, he was a son of the late Granville S. and the late Helen (Eck) Sterner. He was employed as a truck driver by Eastern Industries, Inc., Wescosville, Lehigh County for 25 years retiring in 1996. Prior to that he was employed in the same capacity for the former Keystone Quarry, Kutztown, now Eastern Industries, Inc., Kutztown, for 15 years. He was Lutheran.

He is survived by Wife; Sons, Robert G. Sterner, Jr., West Lawn, Berks County, PA, Ricky L. Sterner, at home; Daughters, Connie R. (Sterner) Mengel, Lyon Station, PA, Judy L. (Sterner) Silasavage, Leesport, PA, Kathy L. (Sterner) Fisher, Fleetwood, PA; Sister, Mary (Sterner) Meitzler, Kutztown; Brother, Richard Sterner, Kutztown; 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Friday, October 31, 2003 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Thursday 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Friday 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
