Robert C Smith Jr

Robert C. “Whitie” Smith, Jr., 47, of Kutztown died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Margaret J. “Peggy” Smith, Kutztown and the late Robert C. Smith, Sr. He was a member of Becker’s Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, Richmond Township, where he also served several terms on the Church Council. “Whitie” worked in the A-2 building of East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station as a labeler since 1983. Robert was a 1981 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. He was a member of Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown.

He is survived by Mother, Sister, Patricia A. (Smith) wife of Matthew C. Christman, Kutztown. In addition, he is survived by Nieces and Nephews, Daniel R., Abbey M. and Lucas W. Fegely.

Memorial Services are Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 11:00 AM in Becker’s Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, 265 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood. Inurnment in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions be made to the memorial fund of Becker’s Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, 265 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
