Robert C Kline

Robert C. “Bobby” Kline, 71, of Bowers, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, surrounded by his loving family, following a long battle with debilitating pain, diabetes, and heart disease. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Delp) Kline. They were married July 5, 1984.

Born in Ruscombmanor Township, he was a son of the late Charles P., and Helen M. (Shollenberger) Kline. Mr. Kline was employed as a tow motor operator by Dana Corporation, Reading, for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed camping and was an avid gardener. Before his illness, Bobby served as a driver for members of the local Mennonite community and took joy in being involved in and welcomed into their lives. His family appreciates the comfort and support he received from members of that community over the years.

In addition to his devoted wife of over 28 years, he is survived by Daughters, Tina C. (Kline), wife of V. Kirlin Fronheiser, Alburtis, Cheryl A. Dreibelbis, partner of Barbara Kyte, Peach Bottom, Maryland, Crystal L. (Dreibelbis), wife of Dean H. Reidenhour, Hamburg, Kathy L. (Kline), wife of Daniel A. Bailey, Kutztown, Kimberly R. (Kline), wife of Richard C. Weller, Mertztown; Son, Nick A., husband of Cathy A. (Reichelderfer) Dreibelbis, Kutztown; Brothers, Lester Kline, Mertztown, Lee Kline, Womelsdorf, Earl Kline, Fleetwood; 9 Grandchildren, Josh, Amy, Paige, Sarah, Chad, Trish, Danielle, Nick Jr., Jacob; and 5 Great Grandchildren, Gracie, Charlie, Aubrey, Avianna, and Jasiah. He was predeceased by a Sister, Esther K. (Kline), Greenawalt.

Funeral Services are Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Peters UCC Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
