Robert A Ream

Robert A. “Bob” “Reamy” Ream, 61, of Kutztown, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 as a result of a work related accident in Lackawanna County. He was the husband of Donna R. (Sokol) Ream whom he married April 28, 1978.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John G., Sr., and Melba M. (Moyer) Ream. Bob was a 1971 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and a United States Navy veteran. He was employed as a laborer by E.J. Breneman Paving and Material Company, West Lawn, for 10 years. Bob loved riding his Triumph motorcycles. A strong willed man, Bob was a loving and devoted husband and father and a "Jack-of-all trades." Bob made the selfless decision to be an organ and tissue donor. His donation, through Gift of Life Donor Program, will benefit individuals in need of a transplant.

He is survived by Wife, Donna; Children, Ahren M. Ream, at home, Dustin C., husband of Donna P. (Collins) Ream, Philadelphia, Jaclyn L. Ream, at home; Sisters, Gale J. (Ream), wife of Larry P. Miller, Brenda J. (Ream), wife of Larry P. Murin, Aleece A. (Ream), wife of Neven J. Dries; Brothers, Dale J. Ream, Donald J. Ream, husband of Amy Smith, Noel D. Ream, Errol L. Moyer; four-legged companions, Honey, Lady Jack, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his Parents and a Brother, John G. Ream, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
