Ricky Lee Krick, 60, of Topton, died Monday, September 8, 2014 in his residence.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Dorothea E. (Sechler) Krick. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. Mr. Krick was employed as a press operator by ATAS International, Inc., Fogelsville, for over five years. Prior to that, he was employed in the same capacity by Electro-Space Fabricators, Inc., Topton, for over 25 years. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Ricky was a member of The Reading Motorcycle Club (RMC), Oley, for over 35 years. He was also a member of Pike Township Sportsmen's Association, Oley, and he loved gardening. Ricky was a huge contributor to John's Unclassic Friday morning shows, known as "The Chicken Farmer" on Muhlenberg College's Radio Station, WMUH 91.7 FM.
He is survived by Brother, Michael W., husband of Doris E. (Bortz) Krick, Topton; Niece, Rebecca A. (Krick), wife of Brian K. Frederick, Alburtis; Nephew, Scott M., husband of Michelle D. (Lehman) Krick, Chesapeake, VA; and 3 Great Nieces, Mackenzie, Madison, and Morgan. He was predeceased by a Sister, Maxine Krick.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Roger M. Ulrich officiating. Interment will follow in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Relatives and friends may call Friday afternoon from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
