Richard F. Brensinger

Richard Franklin Brensinger, 73, of Macungie, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024.  He was born on November 8, 1950, in Pottstown, Montgomery County, a son of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Muth) Brensinger.  Richard was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis, where he found solace and strength.  His faith was an important part of his life, and he found comfort in his religious community.

Richard was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and went on to have a successful career.  He worked at Tyler Pipe, Macungie, for over 30 years as a pipe maker and Ingram Books in Breinigsville, for five years as a book binder, until his retirement.

Richard enjoyed auto racing and woodworking, and these hobbies brought him great joy throughout his life.  He had a passion for automobiles and loved spending time in his workshop, creating beautiful pieces with his woodworking skills.  Richard also had a great love for wildlife and nature.

Richard F. Brensinger will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for auto racing and woodworking, and his dedication to his family and community.  He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and generosity.

Richard is survived by his uncles, Warren, widower of Kathleen Muth, Mertztown; and Albert, husband of Donna (Trollinger) Muth, Topton; Brother, Donald Brensinger, Gilbertsville; Nephews, Matthew, husband of Mary (Weinsteiger) Hess; and Adam, husband of Melissa (McGinley) Hess, both of Boyertown.  In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his grandparents, Oscar and Mamie Muth; his uncles Oscar Muth, Jr., and Clifford Muth; his aunts, Ruth Dry, Pauline Dry, Ester Muth and Mary Muth, his sisters, Pauline Hess and Mary Brensinger.

Richard was a loving and a kind-hearted individual who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral services to honor and celebrate Richard's life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with The Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Sassaman, officiating.  Interment in Huff Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
