Richard A Bidlow

Richard A. Bidlow, age 69, 733 Baldy Road (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, PA, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown, where he was a patient since June 16, 2003. He was the husband of Ethel M. (Selig) Bidlow, Kutztown, (Maxatawny Twp.), they were married 21 years this past October 17 ^th .

Born in Allentown PA, he was the Son of the late Arthur A. and the late Arlene (Hilbert) Bidlow. He was a welder at the former General Seating, Topton, from 1968 until 1981. He also worked for the Boyertown Body Works, Boyertown, Carl R. Bieber Tourways, Inc., Kutztown, and the former MGP Company, Topton, from 1981 until his retirement in 2001. He was a US Navy Veteran from 1950 to 1954, National Guard Veteran, 1957 to 1968. He served in the US Naval Reserves from 1968 to 1980. He served during the Korean Conflict and during the Vietnam era.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Michael K. Bidlow, Bowers (Maxatawny Twp.) Berks County, PA, Steven E. Bidlow, Boyertown, Berks County, PA; Step-Daughters, Selena E. Geist, Fleetwood, PA, Sheila E. Geist, Rose E. (Geist) Frederick, Stevens, PA; Step-Son, Robert W. Geist, Denver (Lancaster County), PA; Step-Sister, Joyce Buck, Boyertown, PA, 2 Grandchildren, and 11 Step Grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown PA.
