Rhoda A Weiseman

Rhoda A. (Frederick) Weiseman, 72, of Mertztown, died on Monday, April 4, 2016 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Edwin T. Weiseman, whom she married on September 6, 1969.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late J. Mark and Sarah E. (Jones) Frederick. She was a member of Hope Community Church, Fleetwood (Rockland Township). Mrs. Weiseman was a 1962 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, and was a homemaker. Rhoda enjoyed word search puzzles and crocheting.

Rhoda is survived by her Husband of 46 years, Edwin; Sons, Ernest W. Weiseman, St. Augustine, Florida, Seth B. Weiseman, Boalsburg, Centre Co., and John W. Weiseman, companion of Elena M. Hernandez, Mertztown; Grandchildren, Grace, Robert, Halle, Niko and Destinee Weiseman, and Jaylynn Rhoda Weiseman, due in May 2016; Sisters, Ruth E. (Frederick) Bowman and Sarah J. (Frederick) Stauffer, and Brothers, J. Mark Frederick, Jr., and Daniel P. Frederick. Rhoda was predeceased by her Parents, and a Sister, Mary E. Frederick.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Hope Community Church, 31 Lobachsville Road, Fleetwood, with Pastor Gary Blosser officiating. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
