Rhea M Siegfried

Rhea M. Siegfried, 80, of Grim Road (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, PA, died Friday, March 11 2005, in the In-patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17 ^th & Chew Streets, Allentown, where she was a patient since Monday. She was married to the late Ray E. Siegfried who died September 29, 1977.

Born in Oley Twp., Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Beulah (Prutzman) Knabb. She was employed as a Lay-Out Operator at the former AT&T, Reading for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was a 1942 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. She was a member of the reformed congregation of Zion’s Union Church, Route 222, Maxatawny, where she served on the consistory for over 12 years.

She is survived by Son, Ronald R. Siegfried, (Bethlehem Twp.) Easton; Brothers, John Knabb, Maxatawy (Maxatawny Twp.), Alfred Knabb, New Ringold, Schuylkill County, PA; Sisters, June (Knabb) Bruno, Kutztown, Eleanor (Knabb) Sechler, Strausstown, Berks County, PA; 2 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at 10:30 AM from Zion’s Union Church, Route 222, Maxatawny. Interment in Zion (Maxatawny) Union Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the church.
