Renee L. Sufrinko Solt

Renee L. (Romig) Sufrinko Solt, 63, of Mertztown, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 24, 2021, in her residence.  Renee was the widow of Carl D. Solt, who died February 12, 2016.  Born in Allentown, Renee was a daughter of the late Edgar C. and Evelyn A. (Fenstermacher) Romig.  Her step mother, Violet B. (Benjamin) Romig, also predeceased her.

Renee was a graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School, Class of 1975.  Following high school graduation, Renee attended Kutztown University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Renee was employed as a Relationship Manager for Dun & Bradstreet, Center Valley, for over 20 years.  Most recently, Renee worked in a similar capacity for Sharp Packaging, Breinigsville.

She was an active member of Kutztown Rotary since 2011 having proudly served as President from 2016-2017.   She was passionate about her Rotary Projects and enthusiastic about signing up new volunteers for her events.

Renee enjoyed cooking for others, which was put to use as the owner of Kemps Catering with her late husband, Carl for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, her endless supply of projects, and sharing laughter and happy times with her family and friends.

Renee is survived by two daughters:  Amanda L. Sufrinko, Mertztown; and Annie L. (Sufrinko), wife of Aaron M. Schweibinz, Palmerton.  There are also three step daughters:  Laurel K. (Solt), wife of Brian H. Babauta, Mount Penn; Caroline J. (Solt) Foster, Kutztown; and Joanna L. Solt, Kutztown.  There are two grandsons:  Spencer C. Schweibinz and Clint C. Foster.

A memorial service to celebrate Renee's life will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Rev. Susan Lishman officiating.  Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, evening April 28, 2021 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
