Rebecca Louise Mertz

Rebecca Louise Mertz, 31, of Blandon, died Monday, September 29, 2012 in Ontelaunee Township.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Keith A. and Diane L. (Rehrig) Mertz, with whom she resided. She was a 1999 graduate of Fleetwood High School, and earned her Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from Berks Technical Institute in 2010. She was a medical assistant for Drs. John V. LaManna and Thomas W. Dooley, Plastic Surgery, Reading, PA.

She is survived by Parents; Brother, Robert K., husband of Chrisy (Kunkel) Mertz, Shillington; Paternal Grandparents, Kenneth W. and Hilda I. F. (Angstadt) Mertz, Fleetwood; Maternal Grandparents, Garfield G. Rehrig, Slatington and Ethel H. (Suto) Berg, Slatington.

Memorial Services are Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
