Raymond R Landis

Raymond R. “Bobby” Landis, 79, of West Smith Street, Topton, PA died Thursday, August 16, 2007 in the Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, Berks County, where he resided for several weeks.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, he was the son of Leah M. (Webb) Landis of the Lutheran Home at Topton and the late Howard R. Landis. He was a machinist at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton, from 1945 to 1960 and worked in the same capacity at Dana Corporation, Reading, for 30 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Topton.

He is survived by Mother, Sisters, Joyce E. (Landis) wife of Ernest D. Meck, Wescosville, Thelma M. (Landis) wife of Metro Oleksa, Macungie, Brenda J. (Landis) wife of Walter J. Walbert and Muriel C. (Landis) wife of Kenneth L. Rauch both of Bowers; Brother, Dale H. Landis, Kutztown. He was predeceased by Brother, Eugene W. Landis.

Funeral Services are Monday, August 20, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton.
