Raymond H Martin

Raymond H. Martin, 83, of Maxatawny Township, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in his home. He was the husband of Anna Z. (Burkholder) Martin. They were married on November 15, 1949.

Born in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Isaac C. and Barbara M. (Horst) Martin. He was a self employed farmer in Maxatawny Township.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Elizabeth B. wife of Menno J. Martin, East Earl, Miriam B. wife of Earl M. Martin, Kutztown, Lydia B. wife of Mervin B. Snyder, Kutztown, Vera Mae B. wife of Elvin H. Huber, Reinholds; Sons, Alson B. husband of Miriam (Zeiset) Martin, Lime Springs, IA, Paul B. husband of Anna Mae (Martin) Martin, Mark B. husband of Mary Ann (Martin) Martin, Earl B. husband of Ann (Zimmerman) Martin, all of Kutztown, Raymond B. husband of Wilma (Burkholder) Martin, Fleetwood; Sisters, Mary H. widow of Aaron Shirk, Barbara H. wife of David Zimmerman, Vera H. wife of Lloyd Martin and Edna H. wife of Mahlon Zimmerman; Brothers, Isaac H. husband of Esther (Zimmerman) Martin, Paul H. husband of Judy (Ginder) Martin; 34 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Brothers, Lloyd and Henry Martin, Sister, Laura Martin and one Great Grandson.

Funeral Services are Monday, April 23, 2011 at 9:00 AM from his late residence 400 Hinterleiter Road, Kutztown, continuing at 9:30 AM at Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in his late residence.
