Raymond E Yaggie

Raymond E. Yaggie, 71, of Lyon Station, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where he was a patient since April 20, 2013. He was the husband of Dolores H. "Dolly" (Himmelreich) Yaggie. They were married August 29, 1970.

Born in Darby, Delaware County, he was a son of the late Vernon R. and Dorothy A. (Adams) Yaggie. Mr. Yaggie was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville. He was a 1960 graduate of Big Spring High School, Newville, Cumberland County, and attended University of Wisconsin. Mr. Yaggie was employed as a technician by the former DHIA, State College, for 45 years retiring in 2001.

He is survived by Wife; Sisters, Joan (Yaggie) Barnes, Chambersburg, Evelyn Yaggie, Arab, Alabama; Brother, Warren, husband of Arlene Yaggie, Shippensburg. He was predeceased by a Brother, Ralph Yaggie.

Graveside Services will be private at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions be made to Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 16 Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.>>
