Randy A Koch

Randy A. Koch, 53, of Hudson, Fla, formerly of Fleetwood and Kutztown, died Saturday, December 23, 2011 in Marliere Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey, Fla. He was the husband of Karin S. (Edwards) Koch. They were married March 7, 1987.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of Jerre Koch, Wernersville and the late Nancy (Yerger) Koch Borst. He was a stepson of the late John A. Borst. Mr. Koch worked as a Financial Advisor for 30 years. During his career he worked for American General Life & Accident, Nashville, TN, Prudential Financial, Newark, NJ, and lastly for his own firm, RAK Financial, Fleetwood. Since relocating to Hudson, Fla in 2010, Randy and Karin have owned and operated a Rita’s Italian Ice franchise in Clearwater, Fla, with the assistance of their son, Shaun.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter Brittany J. Koch, Philadelphia; Son, Shaun A. Koch, at home. Other survivors include a Brother, Glenn A. husband of Cherie (Printz) Koch, Mohnton and 5 step siblings.

Graveside Services are Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. There is no viewing.
