Randall C. “Randy” Miller, 59, of Kutztown, died Friday, March 4, 2011 in Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia where he was a patient since February 22nd. He was the husband of Elaine S. (Barrell) Miller, whom he married June 28, 1980.

Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Kenneth L. and June (Scheidt) Miller. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a 1969 graduate of Fleetwood Area School District and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Millersville University in 1973, and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Penn State in 1976. He was a systems analyst in the accounting department at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., Allentown, for 29 years, retiring in 2009. In his retirement he worked for the U.S. Census Bureau during 2009 and 2010. Randy also was a member of the former Kutztown Rotary Club; was a Kutztown Youth Athletic Association coach; a Little League coach; a Diamond League organizer and coach; and a fan and supporter of the American Legion Baseball program. He participated in community service projects through his former employer Air Products and Chemicals.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Kennedy C., Miller, at home; Sons, Andrew R., husband of Kristin J. (Teufel) Miller, Phoenixville, Montgomery County, Douglas M. Miller, fiancé of Melissa N. Lind, Chicago, IL, and Patrick A. Miller, Philadelphia, PA. There is also a Brother, Glenn, husband of Lei Miller, Vietnam.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Monday, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to the Randy C. Miller Memorial Fund for Kutztown Youth Athletic Association c/o Ludwick Funeral Home, P. O. Box 292, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
