Ralson R. Kutz, 83, of Rockland Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown. He was the loving husband of Sally Ann (Forrest) Kutz, whom he married on June 22, 1963.
Born in Topton, Ralson was a son of the late Ray M. Kutz, Sr. and Lula C. (Leiby) Kutz and was a 1959 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. Ralson honorably and faithfully served his country in The United States Navy and was a former member of the Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion Honor Guard of Topton, providing services to his fellow fallen comrades.
Ralson was employed by Mack Trucks, Inc., Macungie, PA, retiring as a Line Supervisor after 31 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Topton, and was a member of the former Brandywine Minstrels. Ralson enjoyed traveling with his family in their motorhome and following Brandywine and Philadelphia sports teams.
Along with his wife of nearly 62 years, Sally, Ralson is survived by his three sons, William R., husband of Angelina L. (Minner) Kutz, Douglassville, PA, Michael R., husband of Rose Mary (Hannah) Kutz, St. Albans, WV, and David R., husband of Sherry G. (Schlegel) Kutz, Sinking Spring, PA; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Ashley, Alexander, Laura, Joseph, Nathan and Nicole; and five great-grandchildren, Tristan, Malia, Trace, Theodore and Bailey. In addition to his parents, Ralson was predeceased by his two brothers, Ray M. Kutz, Jr. in 1983 and Carlson R. Kutz in 2010.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Ralson's life will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, with The Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and military honors provided by Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion Honor Guard, will conclude services at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown, at a later date.
In honor of Ralson's dedicated military service and his family's appreciation to the honor guard, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion Honor Guard, 133 Centre Avenue, Topton, PA 19562.
