Ralph M Pennepacker

Ralph M. Pennepacker, 77, of Kutztown, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, in the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Alice K. (Leibensperger) Pennepacker. They were married on March 17, 1973.

Born in East Greenville, Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Ralph C. and Beulah M. (Trumbauer) Pennepacker. He and his wife were co-owners of the former Penny’s Florist, Kutztown, for 29 years from 1968 to 1997. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was past president of the Lehigh Valley Florist Assn., Allentown, for 5 years during the 1970’s. He was president of the former Topton Rotary Club and former member of the Kutztown Rotary Club. He was a life member of the Kutztown VFW Post #560. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Kathryn A. (Zettlemoyer) wife of Terry Shirey, Temple; Son, Eddie P. Zettlemoyer, New Tripoli; Brother, Leon S. husband of Margaret (Fox) Pennepacker, East Greenville; Grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, JoLinda, Angela, Erin, Raymond, Jr., Jason and Scott; and Great Grandchildren, Angel, Wyatt, Devyn, Trinity and Cayden. He was predeceased by a son, Irwin E. Zettlemoyer in 1984.

Services are at the convenience of the family. Interment with Military Honors in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Sunday, June 25, 2006, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown.
