Ralph E. Bennicoff, 90, of Fogelsville, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Westfield Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Mary E. (Kline) Bennicoff. They were married on October 14, 1939.
Born in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Austin and the late Angie (Meitzler) Bennicoff. He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He worked in the paint shop at Mack Trucks, Allentown, for 37 years retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Ray A. Master Post #217, American Legion, Topton, and a member of the Fogelsville Fire Company.
He is survived by Wife, Son, Ernest R. husband of Carlene A. (Scheffler) Bennicoff, Upper Macungie Township; Daughter, Lorraine E. (Bennicoff) wife of Ray E. Potter, Macungie; Granddaughter, Marianne (Bennicoff) wife of Jonathan Miller; 5 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral Services are Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment with Military Honors in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
The family requests contributions to Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
