Ralph D Bachman

Ralph D. Bachman, age 86, of 15132 Kutztown Road, Unit B-11, Kutztown (Maxatawny Township) PA, died April 23, 2000 at home. he was the husband of Irene G. (Showalter) Bachman.

Born in Greenwich Township, Berks County PA, he was the son of The late Edwin D. and Sallie L. (Yoder) Bachman. He was employed as a mechanic for Mente Chevrolet - Oldsmobile, Kutztown for approximately 25 years. He was still currently working for Mente Chevrolet as a parts runner. He is a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a fifty (50) year member of the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton PA.

He is survived by his Wife; 2 Sisters, Edna E. (Bachman) Reitenauer, Kutztown PA and Ferns S. (Bachman) wife of Earl Muth, Kutztown PA; and 2 Brothers, Edwin M. Bachman, Village of Moselem, (Richmond Township) PA and Elton Y. Bachman, Hamburg (Tilden Township) Berks County PA.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homess, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Interment with military honors in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton PA.
