Ralph A. Centolanza, 92, of Northampton, died Monday, July 5, 2010 in Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton. He was the husband of Jennie A. “Jean” (Mularz) Centolanza. They were married June 12, 1955.
Born in Montclair, NJ, he was the son of Antonio and Erma Linda (Collella) Centolanza. He was Catholic. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the owner of the former Clair Corporation, Whitehall, for 20 years, the former Gar-Lenn Paving and Allentown Diagnostic Repair Center, Allentown, now owned by his son, Gary. Ralph was an avid golfer and had two hole-in-ones.
He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Gail A. (Centolanza) wife of William F. Danner, Jr., Laurys Station; Sons, Gary J. husband of Lauri (Haberacker) Centolanza, Allentown, Glenn J. husband of Mary B. (Krutulis) Centolanza, White House Station, NJ., Ralph Stivali, Pompano Beach, FL. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, Keith W. Danner, Caitlin A. Centolanza, Genna R. Centolanza, Angela E. Centolanza, Erin M. Centolanza, and Kristen A. Danner.
Memorial Services are Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10:30 AM from the Gilbert Funeral Home, Inc., 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, PA 18052. Relatives and friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Gilbert Funeral Home. Inurnment in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Turning Point of Lehigh Valley, Inc. 444 East Susquehanna St., Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
