Rachel J. Wyckoff

Rachel J. (Sheldon) Wyckoff, 84, of Kutztown, formerly of Alpha, NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown. She was the widow of James D. Wyckoff, whom she married on December 17, 1960. Born in Rome, NY, Rachel was a daughter of the late Earl and Kathryn (Stever) Sheldon.

Rachel was a graduate of Rome Academy, Rome, NY. She was employed as a Transformer Finisher by Glen Magnetics, Inc, Alpha, NJ.

Rachel enjoyed cats, jigsaw puzzles, word searches, watching movies on the Hallmark channel, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Rachel is survived by her two children, James D. Wyckoff, II and Janice M. (Wyckoff), wife of James Z. Mickey, both of Kutztown; there are four grandchildren: James D. Wyckoff, Cheyenne M. Wyckoff, Sarah K. Mickey, and Zachary J. Mickey. In addition to her husband and parents, Rachel was predeceased by her siblings, Phil, Vincent "Bud", Earl, Lorraine, Kathy, Charlotte, and Joyce.

Services for Rachel will be private at the convenience of the family.
