Priscilla E. Messick, 82, of Kutztown, died Monday, October 24, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County. She was the wife of the late Charles G. Messick, who died September 23, 1985.

Born in Kutztown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph S. and Edith (Fister) Heffley. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughters, Cheryl S.(Messick), wife of Glenn S. Acker, Orefield, Robin G. (Messick) wife of Jonathan P. Waltenbaugh, Palm, Carol A. (Messick) wife of Stephen Seier, Allentown; Sons, Charles R., husband of Jane E. (Moyer) Messick, Alburtis, Joel B. Messick, Mt. Carmel; a Grandson, she raised, Joseph G. Messick, fiancé of Andrea M. Butz, Fleetwood; Sister, Elaine E. (Heffley) Musser, Bally; Brothers, Donald F. Heffley, Edgewater, FL, Malcom P. Heffley, Port Orange, FL, Ralph A. Heffley, Allentown, PA, Lowell W. Heffley, White Sulphur Springs, NY, Colin P. Heffley, Kutztown, and David P. Heffley, Lewes, DE. There are also 17 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Son, James D. Messick in 1981.

Celebration of Life Services will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 5:00 PM in Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Road, Quakertown, PA. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in the church. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis, PA.

Contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Health Network for Hackerman-Patz Hospitality House, c/o Development Department, 2100 Mack Blvd., Allentown, PA 18105. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
