Peter F Lilienthal

Peter F. Lilienthal, 57, of Orlando, Florida, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 21, 2012.

Born in Wilson Borough, Northampton County, he was a son of Paul F. Lilienthal, Village of Moselem Springs, and the late Winifred Ruth (Knouse) Lilienthal, who died July 26, 2000. Pete attended the Lab School in Kutztown, was a 1972 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, attended Drexel University, Philadelphia, and was a 1990 graduate of Albright College, Reading, receiving a bachelor degree in computer science. He was employed as a supervisor for AT&T and Lucent Technologies, Reading, PA, and Orlando, FL, from 1980 to 2001. He co-founded Strong Link Data with Patricia Edwards in 2001 where he developed computer systems for the U.S. Department of Defense.

He is survived by his Father, Paul; Daughters, Jane A. (Lilienthal) wife of Mario A. Toscano, Lower Gwynedd, PA, and Rachael D. Lilienthal, Orlando, FL; Son, Joshua P. Lilienthal, Orlando, FL; Sister, Margaret A. (Lilienthal), wife of Col. Stephen E. Broughall, U.S. Army, Ret., Washington, D.C.; Brother, John M. Lilienthal, Brighton, MI, and former Wife, Cynthia J. (Cantor) Kruger, Huntingdon Valley, PA. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Meaghan S. and Mario A. Toscano.

Funeral Services are Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:30 AM in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 357 West Main Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Beckers St. Peters Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the church.
