Pauline M. “Polly” (Schoedler) Keller, 97, formerly of Mertztown, died Monday, August 8, 2016 in Kutztown Manor, where she resided since March, 2013. She was the widow of Harry H. "Sparky" Keller, who died April 23, 2011.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Miller) Schoedler. Polly was a member of the Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny. Polly worked from 1937 to 1940 as a sewing machine operator at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis.
She is survived by Daughters, Joann R. Keller-Thomsen, wife of Helge K. Thomsen, Mohnton, Gale G. (Keller) wife of Glenroy Wiltrout, Bowers; Sister, Rachel (Schoedler) widow of Wallace Fritz, Macungie; Grandchildren, Gary, husband of Lisa Wiltrout and Holly Wiltrout wife of Dallas DeFrees. There are also 3 Great Grandchildren, Jonathan Wiltrout, Michael Wiltrout and Samantha (Wiltrout) wife of Anthony Rossetti; one Step Great Grandchild, Ryan Morris and Great-Great Granddaughters, Delilah and Cecelia Rossetti. In addition to her husband Harry, Polly, was predeceased by 2 Brothers, Earl G. Schoedler and Harry H. Schoedler, Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Jeffrey J. Butz officiating. Interment will follow in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
