Pauline E Deturk

Pauline E. (Polly) DeTurk, age 86, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Kutztown PA, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading PA. She was the Wife of Chester R. DeTurk. The couple celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary last June.

Born in Kutztown PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Florence M. (DeLong) Hiester. She was a Proofreader for the Kutztown Publishing Company, Inc. for 25 years, retiring in 1978. She was a Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. She was a past Member of the Kutztown Woman's Club.

She is survived by her Husband; Daughter, Marcia F. (DeTurk) Keiser of Kutztown PA; Son, David W. DeTurk of Kutztown PA; Sister, Ruth D. Hiester of Kutztown PA; 4 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2002 in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 47-51 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown. Family and Friends may call 10:00 AM Saturday in the Church. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown.
