Paula A Shade

Paula A. Shade, age 50, of 139 Normal Avenue, Kutztown PA, died Sunday, September 17, 2000 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown PA. She was the wife of Leland Shade. The couple celebrated their 29th Anniversary last September.

Born in Reading PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Betty (Dinino) Kercher. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Kutztown PA. She was a licensed practical nurse at the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton PA for 24 years. She received her degree in practical nursing from Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading PA.

She is survived by her Husband; Sons, Raymond L. Shade of Lenhartsville PA and Vernon P. Shade of Fleetwood PA; Sister, Dorthea (Kercher), wife of William Tremper of Reading PA; Brothers, David Kercher of Mohnton PA and Ronald Kercher of Leesport PA; and 2 Grandsons.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood PA. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
