Paul R Greiss

Paul R. Greiss, 88, of Topton, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Jean G. (Reppert) Greiss. They were married June 26, 1948.

Born in Topton, he was a son of the late John and Pearla (Ruppert) Greiss. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was an installer for 41 years for the former Owen-Bastian, now Carpet One, Trexlertown. Mr. Greiss was a life member of Ray A. Master, Post 217, American Legion, Topton.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Melissa B. (Greiss) wife of Barry D. Haydt, Fleetwood, Brother, Carl husband of Betty (Moyer) Greiss, Topton. There is also a Grandson, Eric S. Haydt and a Great Grandson, Ethan W. Haydt.

Funeral Services are Friday, January 15, 2010, at 1:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment with Military Honors provided by Ray A. Master, Post 217, American Legion, Topton, in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Friday, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
