Paul Leimbach

Paul Leimbach, 90, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband Eleanor R. (Brown) Leimbach. They were married May 18, 1946 .

Born in Kutztown, PA, he was a son of the late John and Hilda (Bernhardt) Leimbach.  Paul was a member of Saint John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a 1942 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Paul was employed as a machinist by the former Kutztown Foundry for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Kutztown Lions Club for many years, where he was awarded with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Paul was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren .

He is survived by Wife; Son, Roger A. Leimbach, husband of Margaret McHale, North Wales, PA; 2 Grandchildren, Edward A. Leimbach and Elizabeth J. Leimbach, both of New York, NY. He was predeceased by a Brother, Rudolph B. Leimbach on July 2, 2014 .

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Johns Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Susan F. Fox officiating. Inurnment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown .Relatives and friends may call Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.
