Paul L. Angstadt, 94, of Kutztown, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. He was the widower of Marjorie M. (Sweitzer) Angstadt, who died August 25, 1984.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Preston S. and Katie A. (Rothermel) Angstadt. Mr. Angstadt was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. He was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Mr. Angstadt was a United States Navy veteran, serving as a Boatswain's Mate, 1 st Class and Master of Arms, during World War II. He was employed as a cutter by Grafika, Sinking Spring, for several years, retiring in 1984. Prior to that, he worked as a bindery foremen at Kutztown Publishing Company, Kutztown for 24 1/2 years. Mr. Angstadt was a member of Hoch-Balthaser Post 480, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kutztown. Paul enjoyed going to many different casinos, go-kart racing in his younger years, and repairing his family and friend's lawn mowers.

He is survived by Son, Ronald K., husband of Rosaria L. (Reppert) Angstadt, Fleetwood; Daughters, Cheryl L. (Angstadt), wife of James M. Robertson, Kempton, Lisa M. (Angstadt), wife of Gregory S. Rarick, Kutztown; 7 Grandchildren, Lindsey (Robertson), wife of Rory Dietrich, Devin, husband of Mandy Robertson, Benjamin, Jonathan, Christopher, Joshua and Elizabeth Rarick; 2 Step Grandchildren, Michele Neiman and Kirk, husband of Jess (Adams) Neiman; 2 Great Grandchildren, Makenna and Everly Dietrich; and 4 Step Great Grandchildren, Elle and Lennon Neiman, Layton and Kian D'Augsto. Paul was predeceased by his Parents; 7 Sisters, Irene, Hilda, Lizzie, Elda, Alva, Laura and Catherine; and 3 Brothers, Lester, Nevin and Raymond.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend John B. Davies officiating.  Interment, with military honors provided by Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion Honor Guard, Topton, and The United Sates Navy, will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, 47 S. Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
