Paul H Adams

Paul H. Adams, age 85, of 62 Mildred Ave., Birdsboro PA, died Saturday, March 17, 2001 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown PA. He was the Husband of the late Lillian B. ( Wagner) Himes-Adams who died July 13, 1996.

Born in Kutztown PA, he was the Son of the late Solomon A. and Bertha (Herbein) Adams. He was a Laborer at the Eastern Foundry, Boyertown retiring in 1978 after working many years. He was of the Lutheran Faith. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of World War II. He was a Life Member of Pike Township Sportsman's Club, Oley PA; Member of the Gabelsville Athletic Association "Owls", Boyertown PA; Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Kutztown PA; Liberty Fire Company, Boyertown PA; Life member of Goodwill Fire Company, Bally PA; and the Keystone Fire Company, Bechtelsville PA.

He is survived by his Step Sons, Walter I. Himes, Jr. of NC, Elmer S. Himes of Havertown PA, Robert L. Himes of Pottstown PA and Joseph E. Himes of Ashland PA; Step-Daughters, Lillian B. (Himes) Kelley of Pottstown PA, Rosemary Himes of Gilbertsville PA, Esther J. (Himes) Garcia of Boyertown PA, Clara M. (Himes) Rodriguez of Boyertown PA, Sarah A. (Himes) Istenes of Birdsboro PA, Karen L. Himes of Fleetwood PA and Gloria M. (Himes) Campos of Fleetwood PA; Sister, Anna A. Warmkessel of Kutztown PA; Brother, Harold H. Adams of Kutztown PA; 5 Grandchildren, 35 Step-Grandchildren, 20 Step-Great Grandchildren and 15 Step-Great Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his Daughter, Janice Adams.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2001 at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Thursday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home.
